Teen Health
The Lake Superior Community Health Center provides comprehensive
primary care services for teenagers including:
- School / Camp physicals
- Routine check-ups
- Immunizations
- Health care when sick or injured
- Monitoring and treatment of chronic illness (ex: high blood pressure,
diabetes, asthma)
- Mental health needs
- Preventative care
- Access to medications including birth control
- Laboratory services
- Assisted referrals are provided for services such as specialty
care
- Health education
- Pelvic Exams
- STD testing & treatment /
HIV & Hepatitis testing
Minnesota Family Planning Program
Women or men between the ages of 15 – 50 can receive free family planning office visits and education, birth control, sterilizations, and diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases found during a family planning visit. Click here for eligibility and benefits information.
Wisconsin Family Planning Waiver Program
Uninsured women between the ages of 15 – 44 can receive free pregnancy testing and counseling, reproductive health exams & tests and birth control methods & supplies.
